ATTENTION: Road Closures due to Flooding and Washedout Roads

Eisenhower from Lincoln to HWY B will be closed for the next 2 days until we can get a culvert replaced.

Bluff Drive from V to Eagle is closed today until we can get it repaired.  

We have road crews out repairing roads today all other roads other than the closures previously mentioned are open and passable. Drive carefully 


The Town of Rock is currently evaluating the Coulee Frac Sand Conditional Use Permit Application. All documentation, meeting mins and informational links can be found on the Planning_Commission  page.

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Town of Rock Board of Supervisors will be held Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Rock Hall.


The purpose of the Public Meeting is for the Town Board to consider action on the application by Coulee Frac Sand, LLC for a conditional use permit to conduct nonmetallic mining operations in the Town of Rock.


At this meeting, the Town Board may act on the Coulee conditional use permit application.  There may also be discussion on the future of non-metallic mine operator’s ordinance.


The public is advised to review the documents relating to this application that were posted to the Planning Commission page on the Town’s website for the Thursday, April 4th meeting held by the Commission.

Effective Monday March 25 Spring Weight limits for all roads in the Town of Rock will be in affect.The weight restrictions are 6 tons gross load for single axle vehicles and 10 tons gross load for tandem axle vehicles (any two axles under 8 feet apart). The maximum gross weight is 24 tons. These restrictions will be enforce until further notice.

Effective immediately: The Bridge on MacArthur drive between County HWY V and Eagle Road has a 10 Ton Weight Limit.
