Town of Rock Residents,     

Notice is hereby given that a PUBLIC HEARING will be held

Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Town of Rock Hall 10970 Hwy N.  The purpose of the Public Meeting is for information to be presented to the public related to the application by Coulee Frac Sand, LLC for a conditional use permit to conduct nonmetallic mining operations in the Town of Rock, and for the public to provide comments regarding this proposed project.

 This public hearing will be a joint public meeting of both the Town of Rock Planning Commission and the Town of Rock Town Board. 

The information to be presented is listed on the Planning_Commission Page. Also Kent Syverson,Chair of the Geology Department of UW Eau Clair has been retained by the Town to review the Coulee Proposal and will be giving a presentation at the meeting(his bio is attached on the planning commission page.

No decision on the conditional use permit application will be made at this joint public meeting by either the Planning Commission or the Town Board.
